Checkify
Checkify imports each paid order into Shopify, with your cart attributes. So Checkify needs no webhook: its orders arrive in Whence with your Shopify orders.
Nothing to set up
Step 1: Find Checkify in Connections
In Setup > Connections, under Checkouts and funnels, the Checkify tile is labeled Through Shopify. Its How it works button opens a short explanation and Checkify’s official documentation. There is no address to create and no key to paste.
Step 2: Open How it works
Click How it works: three steps explain how Checkify orders reach Whence, with links to Checkify’s official documentation.
Whence already writes the visitor ID in the cart attributes. When Checkify imports the order into Shopify, the attributes come with it, so the order is tied to the visit it came from, like any other Shopify order.
What you see in Whence
Checkify orders show up with your other orders, in the screens that read orders, such as Sources and Products, with their amount and the visit they came from.
Ad platforms
Checkify fires its own Meta pixel and Conversions API. Shopify does not see its checkout, so Whence does not send these purchases to ad platforms a second time.
Whence sends a Shopify purchase to your ad platforms only when Shopify’s checkout reported it, with the visitor’s consent. A Checkify checkout does not go through Shopify’s checkout, so these purchases stay with Checkify’s own tracking. Keep Checkify’s Meta connection on if you rely on it for your campaigns.
Your store’s other steps (product views, add to cart) still go out from Whence as usual, since they happen on your Shopify store. See The funnel Whence sends.
Using another checkout? See Checkouts and funnels.
